Mare Power Class
Additional classes will be offered for persons who enroll their mares in the Mare Power Program. All foals out of Enrolled Mares are eligible for the Mare Power Classes. Mares may be enrolled December 1 -31; absolute final deadline is December 31. Mare must be enrolled as per the following schedule:
December 1: $350
December 2-31: $700
- The following four classes will be offered – Jr. Weanling Colts and Geldings, Sr. Weanling Colts and Geldings, Jr. Weanling Mares, Sr. Weanling Mares.
- Weanling foals sired by any participating BHF Stallion (Amateur, Open, Color Amateur and/ or Open)are eligible to participate provided the mare is enrolled in the Mare Power Program.
- If an Amateur Exhibitor has two weanling foals eligible for the same class, another exhibitor may show one of the foals. Otherwise, if a horse is eligible for more than one class and it is to be shown by an Amateur Exhibitor that same Amateur Exhibitor must show the horse in all entered classes at the BHF. Youth Exhibitors may show a horse in a Youth Class even though an Amateur Exhibitor has shown the same horse in all other classes.
