Press Release – 9/21/2022

The Breeders Halter Futurity Board of Directors is very proud of our event that was held in Des Moines, Iowa from September 13 – 17, 2022.   Thank you very much to all who participated in our show.   The quality of the horses was over the top!!!   All the positive feedback gets us very excited about things to come in 2023!!!

The BHF Board of Directors has some great things in store for next year:

** At our 2023 BHF, we will have Stallion Booths which will allow all Stallion Owners to showcase their stallions.   All participating BHF Stallions will be given the opportunity to participate.  This is a great way to get information out to mare owners and offer special incentives.

** All DIY horses must be trainer free by July 1st.

** All Owners of horses who exhibited at our 2022 event will receive a survey to help choose our Judges for 2023.   We thought you all did such a great job this year, we are going to use this system again.   A survey will be sent to you via Survey Monkey.

** We will be adding Non-Pro Class within a Class to our Mare Power Classes and our Yearling Classes.

** Mare Power Enrollments are due by December 1st for $350 with a final deadline of December 31st for $700.    If you enroll 4 mares, there is no charge for the 5th mare.

** We are going to revamp our Payouts to include 10% for the Breeder and 10% for the Stallion Owner.
